A Divine Act of Service on Makar Sankranti at Gorakhnath Temple

On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, a heartwarming example of humanity, compassion, and social responsibility was witnessed at the sacred Gorakhnath Temple, Gorakhpur. With the joint efforts of Nayi Disha Sewa Trust and Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation, clothes were distributed to devotees visiting the fair, and mattresses and blankets were respectfully offered to saints and sages as part of a noble service initiative.

This meaningful act of service truly enhanced the spiritual essence of Makar Sankranti, reflecting the true spirit of the festival — sharing warmth, care, and kindness with those in need. Such initiatives remind us that festivals gain real significance when they bring comfort and dignity to every section of society.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Pujya Maharaj Yogi Adityanath Ji, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The dignity of the program was further elevated by the presence of Hon’ble Mayor of Gorakhpur Shri Manglesh Shrivastava Ji, Rural MLA Shri Vipin Singh Ji, Municipal Commissioner Shri Gaurav Singh Sograwal Ji, along with many other distinguished guests and devotees.

This service initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of Nayi Disha Sewa Trust towards social welfare. With a strong resolve to serve society, the Trust will continue to move forward, working tirelessly to bring positive change and support to the lives of the underprivileged.

🙏 Jai Gorakhnath 🙏
